Intro

Hello, my name is Ashley and I am 14 weeks pregnant. I have a history of brain surgery and currently still have 3 cavernous angiomas in my brain.

"Honestly, most people with your condition don't get pregnant. So there is no real way to know how everything will turn out. Whether or not your angiomas will bleed or grow is totally unpredictable."-My OBGYN

Well, I figured there had to be others out there. So, I am documenting my pregnancy on here so other moms can get a feel of what they might have to go through.

So far, my seizures that began with my brain bleeding in 2010 have gotten increasingly worse. My headaches seem to be doing worse, but that is always a roller coaster.

I must note that I was taken off of my seizures meds due to the fact that I only have partial seizures and do not pass out during. Therefore, the discomfort to me was deemed(by me and my neuro) to be less important than a baby being malformed.

I have had 2 ultrasounds. Both have come back normal. I was asked by a doctor if I was sure i wanted to continue down this road. I choose to keep the baby.
